Makeshift Building, Container Shelter and Outpost
A search-focused map of the three container-building names, with the unlock chain kept explicitly provisional.
Public sources connect container-building searches with Oil Rigs, but they do not give us a clean current UI record. A TechWiser location guide reports a Small Rig → Container Shelter, Big Rig → Makeshift Building Container, and Huge Rig → Outpost Container chain. Treat that as a reported unlock lead, not as a confirmed map or cost table.
Reported unlock chain
| Reported source location | Reported building label | Publication state |
|---|---|---|
| Small Oil Rig | Container Shelter | Needs UI proof Source lead only. |
| Big Oil Rig | Makeshift Building Container | Needs UI proof Source lead only. |
| Huge Oil Rig | Outpost Container | Needs UI proof Source lead only. |
Why the names need care
The search wording uses “Makeshift Building,” “Container Shelter,” “Makeshift Building Container,” “Outpost,” and “Outpost Container.” These may be UI names, guide shorthand, or different objects. This page does not silently merge them; the exact label must come from the current build menu or unlock container.
What the structure sources do support
The Fandom crafting reference says some container items require finding a corresponding Oil Rig, and that some facilities have limits that may require dismantling before rebuilding. That is a useful rule for planning, but it does not establish the cost, capacity, raid resistance, or exact location of any named container building.
| Field | What to record before publishing |
|---|---|
| UI name | Exact item label and icon from the build menu. |
| Unlock | Rig size, container interaction, and any enemy/key prerequisite. |
| Cost | Material names and quantities shown in the current UI. |
| Function | Storage, shelter, defense, production, or another tested role. |
| Limit | Build cap, dismantle behavior, and whether rebuilding is possible. |
A safe building test
Capture the unlock container
Record the Oil Rig size and the exact text shown when the purple container is opened.
Copy the build-menu entry
Save the label, icon, displayed cost, and any limit before placing the structure.
Test the function
Check what the structure actually does, whether it survives a Raid, and what dismantling returns.
No exact Oil Rig coordinates, required keys, material costs, capacity, Raid resistance, or “best base” recommendation is asserted. Those are the key fields the Stage 3 ledger marked for in-game evidence.
